What You’ll Do:

Ripley PR is looking for a full time HR specialist. This person will perform a variety of human resources and talent acquisition activities and work directly for the CEO. Due to the nature of this position, a high level of confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks, maintain files, responding to emails and phone inquiries
  • Coordinate and manage PTO, benefits administration and coordinate for payroll
  • Assist with the hiring process, including developing job descriptions, creating and submitting job postings, and scheduling interviews
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and orientation
  • Assist with setting up new employees in HR software and processing new hire paperwork
  • Assist with employee reviews
  • Coordinate updates to the employee handbook and other policies
  • Professional in appearance and attitude
  • Maintain personnel files, records and documents

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years human resources experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Tennessee employment law
  • Commitment to protect confidential employee and business information
  • Ability and willingness to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, with unexpected requests and changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • First-class interpersonal skills
  • Works well collaborating as a team and working independently
  • Highly organized
  • Proficient in PC, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, WordPress and content management systems

Work Location:

  • Full-time, On Location in Maryville, Tennessee. (This is not a remote position.)
