I see so many articles focused on business growth and best practices for scaling your business. A lot of them are coming from our fantastic clients, and I marvel at how they’re helping plumbing, HVAC and other home service companies overcome challenges and find solutions to problems that might be holding them back.
We work with both contractors and the companies coaching them, and it’s our job to help them all grow. Whether that’s through media outreach, content creation, brand management or just strategizing, we’re in their corner to help them however we can.
Finding value in additional services
I came across a story this morning from ACHR News that focused on best practices for adding services, such as plumbing or electrical, to an existing HVAC company, and my gears immediately started turning. The Q&A between ACHR’s Kyle Gargaro and Redwood Services CFO Shaun Hardick discusses the “why” and the “how to” when it comes to adding services.
It was all valuable information, and I found my head immediately going to “what happens next?” You’ve added plumbing services to your HVAC company. How you do you capitalize on that news? The answer is simple: you make sure you have a home service public relations agency standing by to help you take next steps.
We’ve worked with clients who have expanded their service offerings, and while they’re figuring out how to navigate the wacky new world of plumbing, HVAC or electrical, we’re navigating how to share the news. Expansion is exciting! Whether it’s a new location or a new service, you’re growing and we want to make sure that excitement carries through your team and out to your customers, both new and old.
What comes next?
It’s a fine line to walk when you add services. Customers want to know they’re still going to be getting the same quality services they’ve come to expect from you. Through targeted content and media outreach, we can discuss your new offerings and how they will benefit your customers. And it’s not just that. You may be unveiling a new name, logo or whole new look to complement your new lineup.
Whatever changes you’re making, make sure you’re thinking about the big picture. Those changes are exciting, but make sure you’re using PR to maximize the rollout. An expansion is an awesome first step, and we’re here to help you take the next one. Give us a call at (865) 977-1973.
